Steven A. Three days before the attack, Chief Sund requested the assistance of the National Guard. This request was denied. In preparation for the Joint Session of Congress, Chief Sund directed every available sworn officer to be on duty to protect the Capitol and all of its members and staff.

The savage attack that followed was a well-planned and carefully coordinated armed assault on the United States Capitol, involving thousands. Dedicated men and women were knocked unconscious and sprayed with mace and bear spray as live pipe bombs were discovered at the national headquarters of both major political parties.
Finally multiple police lines were breached. Then the building was breached. The National Guard didn’t arrive until it was much too late. In the end, 150 officers were seriously injured, and nine Americans were dead.

I always enjoy hearing more about the hoax “insurrection” in which the only person to die was a tiny ex-forces lady who was shot in the face by a coward.

You do have to hand it to people like GordonCoon. They were spoon-fed what to think and they tipped the bowl up with gusto.
The video evidence does not discredit the riot that occurred on Jan. 6 resulting in the desecration of the Capitol Building. It shows it quite well. All the video evidence of that day shows it, the hundreds of trials and jail time for the perpetrators charged prove the riot, the Jan. 6 Inquiry and their very public dissemination of evidence including members of the Former Guy’s Administration testifying there was no fraud and the pundits that told GordonCoon what to believe were also saying there was no fraud as well in private.
Ultimately, Ashli Babbit was trespassing with criminal intent. A deluded citizen would have stayed outside the building. Insurrectionists stormed it, or in her case, tried. Very lucky more people didn’t lose their lives that day. If you want to know the depths of GordonCoon’s own delusion, mention the peaceful protests of BLM six months before and hear the contrast in language they use. I’m sure they’ll suddenly care about the police again without mentioning the word coward.

I guess this author never saw all the released footage that shows nothing like this happened. That FBI agents in the crowds were the ones that told everyone to enter the capitol. That the cops opened the doors and let them in. There was a few rowdy incidents, but nearly everyone just walked around like they were on a tour, some of them were led by the police themselves. This was not an insurrection, it was a protest against a voter fraudulent coup that just happened. All this footage has been coming out, time to see the truth. I think Jan 6th is a day to celebrate freedom and the fight to stop corruption.
