What we did to Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are war crimes.
The annihilation of civilians is a criminal act.

Those on the winning side always get to decide what is and is not a war crime! As civilians became more and more involved in industrial warfare, was it not inevitable that they would endure more suffering?

The Nazi’s had declared “Total War”. There are no rules in Total War. They machine gunned refugees and bombed civilian population centers on their journey through Europe.
The Japanese had bombed and machine gunned refugees.
It’s easy to criticize 76 years later.
