Before we get all wet in our jocks, this is a guy who flew for the outfit that that decided they were a whiter grade of white, and that death camps like Dacha and Buchenwald were the very thing to improve the neighborhood, right?

Strangely enough, I’m not as certain about the white angle. To a large degree, the Slavs are whiter than the Germans, and the racist cohort thought that the Slavs were utterly subhuman, to borrow their undesirable phrase. And they also thought the Celts were inferior, I believe, & we’re so white that most of us don’t even tan (not actually the evolutionary advantage that u may believe). I think that “race” was central for those racists, rather than colour per se. They were also allied with the Japanese empire.
I have an historical notion that it was mostly the British that brought that “superior white” thing on tour around the globe, to the grim devastation of all. Their brutish empire & its “White Man’s Burden.” It underscored all the rapacious greed.
