  Philip is one of the cleverest people I ever met, though I don’t remember him ever being right about any matter of importance. (Perhaps I mean: I don’t remember agreeing with him).

  If this argument follow his usual line, it will overestimate Monica and undervalue Jerome; but it will be full of surprising research and invigorating insights. It will certainly be worth reading, even if it turn out to be more of a lament for the Lost Cause than an actual pilgrimage to eceumenism.

  It’s always hilarious when certain self-appointed intellectuals on this site try to wax poetic in the comments section to show everyone how smart they are. But actually, all you guys are really showing is how obvious it is that you’re lonely virgins and how boring you must be to interact with in real life.

  There’s a certain kind of person who, when they go from knowing 99 to 100 words, changes their standard resting face pose from ‘deer in headlights’ to ’self-absorbed chump’ (lifting up of chin, narrowing of eyes) and sites like this always show people new to this transformation…

  Learning of the history of any religion will reveal that it was Man who created god. The Christian Church is a particularly good example of this. Early on it was simply tailoring the doctrine to entice the Pagans.
