In 1942, the U.S. Army unleashed one of its greatest secret weapons in the battle to defeat Adolf Hitler: training nearly 2,000 German-born Jews in special interrogation techniques and making use of their mastery of the German language, history, and customs. Known as the Ritchie Boys, they were sent in small, elite teams to join every major combat unit in Europe, where they interrogated German POWs and gathered crucial intelligence that saved American lives and helped win the war.
Though they knew what the Nazis would do to them if they were captured, the Ritchie Boys eagerly joined the fight to defeat Hitler. As they did, many of them did not know the fates of their own families left behind in occupied Europe. Taking part in every major campaign in Europe, they collected key tactical intelligence on enemy strength, troop and armored movements, and defensive positions. A postwar Army report found that more than sixty percent of the credible intelligence gathered in Europe came from the Ritchie Boys.
Bruce Henderson draws on personal interviews with many surviving veterans and extensive archival research to bring this never-before-told chapter of the Second World War to light. Sons and Soldiers traces their stories from childhood and their escapes from Nazi Germany, through their feats and sacrifices during the war, to their desperate attempts to find their missing loved ones in war-torn Europe. I love the Jews. I hope my daughter converts to Judaism, marries a successful young Jewish real estate wheeler-dealer & gives me 3 healthy Jewish grand children …… you know, exactly like Trump did while simultaneously stroking his jew hating white supremacist MAGA supporters.
How do they manage to square that circle? By ignoring it. When reality runs head long into their security blanket narrative they simply ignore or deny it.
Joining the Jewish tribe or any powerful tribe via marriage is straight out of the elite playbook.
From an evolutionary perspective, Trump has given his genetic line great odds of surviving for a minimum of the next few generations & possibly beyond. There’s no guarantee in evolution, but it’s still a masterful stroke by Trump to ensure his DNA has the 1%er advantage while many of his dupe supporters are ending their own genetic lines via alcoholism, fentanyl, eating their guns & the rest of the deaths of despair.
Politics is just another survival & reproduction path - the further you go the greater your reproductive odds. The specific ideology matters not. It could be dogma over anything. Greens vs Blues bla bla bla. The plebs have been played by playing the subservient role to hustlers like Trump, Clinton, Obama etc etc - clock spinning all the way back to the beginning of civilization.
Playing a role y’all were more or less born into is essential to cling to the illusions of meaning & purpose & of course the humans also need to believe their tribe is the chosen one (good guys). Nothing bumps the self esteem easier than superiority by association. No personal accomplishments needed.
I’m not judging. Just pointing out that the humans are not in control of anything. Just fulfilling our biological programming.
The ever more fanatical behaviour & violence is par for the course in societies well down the decline—> collapse path. Nothing unique about moderns at all except for the scale - global. Give me the circumstances & I’ll tell you how they’ll behave.
The one big difference between moderns & the ancients is that the ancients were not the least bit surprised when their civilizations were collapsing because they had the wisdom to understand & accept the impermanence of everything.
No Mars colony or silly Cyber-Rapture crisis cults for them. For the vast majority of the 8 billion souls on this planet, their only chance of a better future is in an afterlife (if it exists).
