This is one everyone should listen to/read, along with Shoshanaa Zuboffs ‘Age of Surveillance Capitalism,’ and Misha Glenny’s ‘Dark Market.’ Gives the no holds barred history of what the Internet (and much of the tech industry) has been intended for, instead of telling magical tales of dorks in garages that become rags to riches trillionaires- who’s parents only happened to be key figures during the Cold War, and/or good friends with the Rockefellers. After those three, best to continue with the Douglas Valentine and Peter Dale Scott, if you haven’t already. Wish there was more Scott on here- or just around on audio period.
