All i know is because of capitalism, I enjoy some pretty fun stuff. I love the Grateful Dead which couldn’t exist without capitalism. I love audiobooks, sometimes I like video games. I enjoy a good film or TV Drama every once in a while. I love LED lights and fans / air conditioning and the fridge that keeps fresh lunch meat & cheese. Don’t forget about ICE CUBES. I have lived in the woods for over a year off grid and not having ICE CUBES sucked.
It’s almost impossible to list all the wonders that capitalism gave us. but let’s not forget that before capitalism, people were largely forced into the trade of their father. There was no “What do you want to be when you grow up” for an overwhelming majority of people. Some men were ahead of their time and understood that trade of goods where both sides profit is what a successful merchant strives for. Both people come out of a trade feeling they benefited or profited. That is what capitalism is all about.
Yes there is inequality and sometimes things are not fair, but there is NO OTHER system where people have such an overwhelmingly high quality of life. Capitalism is game changer overwhelmingly in a positive way.
Without capitalism we would not be able to stream audio and video or even comment.
